REGISTRATION POLICY

• To guarantee your name on the AURP International Conference Attendee List, registrations must be received by October 18, 2024. 
• For speedier on-site processing, payment must be received by October 18, 2024. Participants with outstanding balances may not pick up registration materials without payment. Please bring check or credit card for payment on-site. 

PAYMENT POLICY
• To qualify for the early registration rate, both a completed registration form and full payment must be received prior to October 18, 2024.
• Payments not received by October 18, 2024, will be charged the late registration fee.
• Registrants will be required to resolve any unpaid balances by check or credit card on-site at the conference, excluding those with valid purchase orders.
• Extra fee events must be paid for in advance of the start-up of the event. Attendees will not be allowed to attend the extra fee events unless they have registered and paid in full. 

AURP PROGRAMS CODE OF CONDUCT
AURP is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all all meeting participants and AURP staff. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, industry partners, sponsors, AURP staff members, service providers, and all others are expected to abide by this AURP Programs Code of Conduct. This Policy applies to all AURP meeting-related events, including those sponsored by organizations other than AURP but held in conjunction with AURP events, on public or private platforms. AURP has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment, including but not limited to sexual harassment by participants or our staff at our meetings. If you experience harassment or hear of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, AURP asks that you inform Vickie Palmer, AURP CEO, [email protected], or 520-248-1281, so that we can take the appropriate action.

Unacceptable Behavior is defined as:
Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, industry partner sponsor, AURP staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest.
Examples of verbal abuse include, but are not limited to, verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, national origin, inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces or in presentations, or threatening or stalking any attendee, speaker, volunteer, industry partner, sponsor, AURP staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest.
AURP reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the meeting without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior, and AURP reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting, virtually or in person.
 

CANCELLATION, REFUND and NO-SHOW POLICY
• Registration substitutions will be accepted at any time, but one registration may not be split between individuals.
• All registration cancellations will be charged a $300 processing fee regardless of when received.
• Cancellations by phone are not accepted.
• Cancellations must be received in writing by email to Diana Horn at [email protected].
• There will be no refunds or credits for cancellations received after October 18, 2024.
• A registered attendee who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the conference is considered a no-show and is not eligible for a refund.
• A registered attendee who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the conference is still liable for any outstanding balance.
• Should the AURP International Conference be cancelled for any reason, full reimbursement will be provided to all current registrants.

Contributions or gifts to the Association of University Research Parks (AURP) are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal  income tax purposes.
